Really surprised by this hotel. Beautiful touches, and really thoughtful staff. You can tell that an establishment is well managed by the attitude of the staff, because they will be invariably cheerful and enthusiastic about their work and this was the case here. I’m sorry I didn’t photograph my breakfast! It was absolutely stunning. Everything is hand cooked to order. My bed was so comfortable I didn’t need my sleeping tablets. My room was absolutely huge and had everything in it I needed, including a hairdryer and an ironing board which was surprising. Lovely and clean, intriguing old house, beautifully kept. Wish I had spent more time in the lounges or in the bar. I will come back as soon as possible.

The property was lovely, my room was cozy but it was perfect for my one night! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and clean. It was nice and quiet when trying to get to sleep. My room was facing out the back of the property and I had no problems with noise. The parking was brilliant, I arrived around 1:15PM so knew I was early for check-in, I was able to be checked in at that time which was a bonus! It was clearly signposted when you got closer to the town centre which was helpful. The breakfast was lovely, and was cooked to order which meant it was nice and warm! All of the staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful.

A wonderful older hotel. There's a small car park at the side for about twelve cars which was handy. Very helpful staff on reception who were happy to let me use the car park as I arrived way too early for check in. Nice decor and a pair of lovely sitting rooms one leading onto the small bar. My room was very large. I had twin beds. The shower wasn't the largest but it worked well. Well stocked with tea and coffee in the room. The hotel is in a great location right next to Devonshire Park the Stage Door pub and a short walk to the seafront. I had a nice cooked breakfast with good service. A very enjoyable stay. I will be back at some point.

Stayed one night in the Willmington Suite. Had a work meeting during the day and the staff were fabulous, allowed us to take over a lounge, provided refreshments and couldn't have done enough for us. The suite was a lovely surprise very tidy, clean and comfortable. Only downer was it was so hot! The heating was on high, and I had to open 2 windows and prayed for a breeze. The room otherwise was perfect. The onsite restaurant was delightful once again staff where very attentive and the food was delicious and the portions big! This really his a gem of a place and I hope to return

I loved the location, so close to the beach, in a lovely area of town, very bright and not too busy, easy to walk to from the station. A beautiful building, inside and out. I loved the quirky lounge areas, one with a grand piano and one with retro board games from my youth, a record player and some lovely old books. I spent my morning there drinking my coffee and bathing in the sunshine from the large bay window, truly glorious. The breakfast was perfect 👌 and the staff all polite and friendly. I felt so calm and looked after there and definitely want to go back .
